Tears In Heaven

There are no tears in Heaven.
This I know is true,
for every time i feel upset,
I stop to think of you, my dear
sweet child, the new angel.

While you are in Heaven,
I will think of you each and

upset you.

else, and i want you to know,
That without you as my child,
I have nobody to hold.

Young at Heart

Old and widowed, alone in her room,
This is where, she’ll face her silent doom.
At 98, she’s lived such a life so full,
As she drifts off, wrapped in the sheet of wool.

She remembers, when she was young,
The very first time, she got stung-
By a bee, and how she cried,
How she made that “little sucker” die.

Older now, she remembers prom,
As she posed for pictures for her mom.
Her date arrived, and they danced the night away,
People still remember, how pretty she was today.

Fast-forward to marriage, her walking down the aisle,
As all the guests would sniffle, and smile.
She said, “I do” to the man she loved so long,
As they walked out of the church as they played a song.

Three years later, a child is now around,
Another one coming soon, still not a frown.
The love between them all, hold them together,
For they are all so in love with one another.

More in the future, the children are away,
They’re at college now, yet the parents stay.
They’re getting older now, yet still young at heart,
And they love each other as much as when they start.

Grandchildren now around, kids visit little,
Love bond holds together, still not brittle.
Her grand kids call her often, yet see her never,
Yet their love’s as strong as ever.

Fast-forward again, the husband’s dead,
He grew old and sicker, let it go to his head.
He’s underneath the ground now, she’s all alone,
She’s still alive and breathing, yet on her own.

She’s still, young at heart, yet now by herself,
She’d give anything to have him back, even her wealth.
As she drifts off into a deeper sleep, never to return,
For all she wanted was him, it was her only concern.

Her graceful arms spread out just like a bird,
As music flows it's just how she pictured.
The whole audience are clapping their hands,
Applauding her courage to make a stand.

From the heart is where the passion must be,
And as the girl dances the crowd can see.
She knows what she wants and how she must fight,
She'll dance with fire under the spotlight.

She doesn't believe in fear no longer,
When she's come this far, Become much stronger.
Nothing now will stop her from succeeding,
It's her life and she's doing the leading.

From the heart and soul is how she must dance,
To finally receive that second chance.
She'll prove to the crowd that she's made for this,
And that opportunity she won't miss.

Ok... this isn't that great, I'm just getting back into writing so... lol yeah.

#11. I surrender all
The people are whispering.
The angels are smiling.
They all stand around the hosptial bed.
I can't leave them!
The angels smiled but said nothing.
The people were crying
It was all one big mistake.
The angels just smiled
So peacefully, so secrene.
I asked, 'What's heaven like?'
An angels lips softly brushed my cheek.
I suddenly knew what heaven was like.
'Will they be okay?'
The angesl just smiled
Warm arms embraced me.
And I knew that
I must surender all.

Forest lake

It still clearly imprints in my memory

When it took place

Leaves painted forest gloomy

Fluttering and dancing in grace

We once larked like kids

Swimming in the fallen leaves

Glittering briskly in the sun rays

Our laughter was floating in the breeze

You were determined to walk out of my sight

I knew you only sealed your heart

Gazing at the still lake water on that serene night

In a trance, a voice stammered we were bound to part

Raindrops killed the last days of summer

Peevish wind froze my bloodstream

Hardly can I be attracted by another drifter

Everything faded with the dream

A shadow was left solitary

Cast by the sadness of deserting

Watching the still water dimly

My life is withering

instead of 'angel eyes' i want to do 'expressions'

October Rain

you don't know how you make me feel, standing here next to you. knowing that i love you, and hoping you love me too. the dark purple sky, with clouds all around. as the soft rain falls on us, and we listen to the sound.

i wish it would never end, this beautiful October rain, because when i'm with you, i can feel no pain. as we lay on the ground, staring up at a star. i think of all the good times, and how we've come so far.

had i only just known, it would be our last night. had i only just known, this would be your last sight. i never would have left, from that soft spot on the ground, where we lay every day, because that's where each other, we found.

but now i'm alone, you're simply a memory. forgotten by all, all of course except me. i kept you in my heart, still you're a shattered dream. i don't want to let go, but you're fading into steam.

i want to be with you, want to see you anew. so i found out a way, to be with you real soon. and as i pick up this gun, and hold it up to my brain. i'll never forget, that this is my last October Rain.

I close my eyes and strike a key
The piano beckoning to me
Sitting on a long, smooth chair
Of the world, I do not care

White walls and clean carpet
Outside the ocean view
Music on the brink of my desire
Keys, I pray, do light my heart on fire!

A man and woman dancing in a park
Looking in each others eyes, each other's hearts
Illuminated by the moonlight, the silver moonlight
Dancing, smiling in the dark

A violin playing with a harp
Emotions fly in a battle for attention
"Bravo!" yells the clapping crowd
Both win honorable mentions

A harmonica playing sweet tunes
From a man sitting on a bridge at noon
The sun will be gone soon
He, in a happy mood

A voice singing, tears splashing
Like champagne poured straight from a bottle
River forming at her feet
But she sings a song so sweet

I close my eyes and go to sleep
Loving all of my sweet dreams
Bury my head into the pillow
An unchained melody is taking over me

~Recollection (MLK Jr.)~

I wonder what Martin would think,
if he took a look at our generation,
and saw that those he once stood for,
have succumbed to degradation.

He'd scowl at the way women are treated,
by the men of their own race.
Treated as nothing more than property,
a nationwide disgrace.

He'd watch the hip-hop videos,
turning his head as if not to see,
women dancing half-naked,
right upside Snoop D O double G.

He would see the war is civil now,
race no longer divides the sides.
The black population kills itself,
gang members who kill to survive.

He'd realize that his time was wasted,
no improvements have been made.
There is only one true difference now,
whites aren't needed to degrade.

Daybreak (#21)

Swirling winds surround my thought,
Cushioning my so very harsh movements!
Floating atop the wind, you must be near!

Not quite able to grasp this new found "drug"
I have begun to rely so heavily upon, this "drug"
Your love, holds me through it all!

When daybreak comes I can feel your soft goodbye.
When daybreak nears hurridly you get ready, ready
To leave me alone again to float on cloud 9!

My passion for you is unexplainable, uncharactersitic
For me, so out of the box! I am a sensible person,
Not one to fall so rapidly; so forcefully!

Daybreak has come and gone, so many times!
This daybreak is here, and yet so are you!
Once again I am atop the wind, floating and basking!

Love is such a strong, foreful, word, yet it flows
So gracefully when the thoughts are refering to you!
My love save me from myself, from it all!

You caught me when I fell from life, when I
Couldnt take it any longer, when I didnt have
The strength to stand, you held me!

Our love stronger than life, than death, than anything
Else on this planet, or out of this world! Our love,
Is saving grace, its fireworks and bells ringing!

This is real love!

I sit back and close my eyes
The sweet aroma of pine
Floats with the breeze
Around my face

I take a deep breathe
Open my hazel eyes
And take in the beauty

The golden leaves
Flutter in the gentle wind
Gracefully falling from
The thick branches

The flowers
Just starting
To say goodbye
Close up and get ready
For another
Long, peaceful sleep

And as I gaze
At the picture in front of me
My hands start to move
Across the paper

Capturing every detail
Every uniqueness..
The beauty before me
Appearing slowly on my paper

It hangs on the pale wall
Of my warm home
For everyone to see
To forever be entranced by
My autumn sketch..
