The Hospital Visit - opinion pls

Taking a chance with a lighthearted poem I wrote..it's about a group of friends visiting a comrade in the hospital, for reasons to become apparent.

A friend of mine observed the first time they read it, they were the patient, but on subsequent readings they became one of the friends and they enjoyed it more...wanted to know if that is a general accomplishment.

I also wanted to know if it follows your general experience of (a positive) visitation of a friend in the hospital, in terms of how it plays out.

Many thx for your thoughts, it's currently on my featured list.

    David -

I really liked it. And I think your friend's ability to see themselves in both roles is, in fact, a good thing. It shows how it's not obviously about one person, and "fun" enough that someone would WANT to be in that role.
