The Bell Jar

Has anybody else read this book? I have been set it for my English Literature class this year, and was just wondering what peoples thoughts were.

Oh. Well from what my teacher told me today, it's basically an account of the author's breakdown, who later committed suicide. Apparently the author's mind worked in strange ways, so im hoping it's an interesting book.

I've read it. It's about Sylvia Plath's mental breakdown and eventual suicide.
It's a really good book.

I`ve never heard of it either, but it sounds rather interesting and i`m going to look into it. I`m currently finishing up the Da Vinci Code, and i`ve been looking for something new to read =D
The Da Vinci Code really is a great book, have any of you read it??
