first poem i wrote, they said it was... let's see... "something i copied off a book so i shouldn't really show it to them because it's punishable by law."

i'd be very much embarassed if my family members read my poems. especially if it's not meant for them!

The first time anyone in my family saw my poems they said, "You shouldn't copy off books, that's wrong" and then came the lecture about how worthless I was and how I could never write if my life depended on it... They might be right, but geez, no need to rub it in!
