I got a question

I was just curious as to how the poetry contest on this site works, I've been a member for a few months now and I've haven't figured it out. If someone could help me out here that'd be great. Thanks a lot

You shouldn't feel the need to enter your poems into contests. Just respect your own writing.

I wasn't worried about winning or anything close to that, I was just wondering how it worked out.

ahhh colby dont get your hopes down. yah i havent won anything and i dont care but anything can happen and anything is possible

From what I understand some moderaters go around and read poetry, if they think it's good enough the poem wins.

I don't really bother with even thinking about the contest though.

Nah, not slow... Just about as observent as most people. We just tend not to notice things unless we're gaven a reason, such as bright colors!! :D

The contest isn't reallly talked about much.

Im not surprised you didnt know the last "Weekly Poetry contest" was on 2006-07-02 lol
