Rock/pop song identification help needed

I was listening to a song on the radio that I really like but it didn't say the name.

It started with like an answering machine message from what sounded like a mother. Asking him if he was really okay because he sounded uptight last night and asking if he took his medication (prozac I assume) and reminding him that she still loved him.

Some of the lyrics are:
"Hate me today/ Hate me tommorrow/ Hate me for all the things I did not do for you"

That's all I can remember, hope someone can ID it, it was a male voice.

I actually heard a new song by them today but I didn't catch the name of it. It was really good too.

^Was it the one featuring Imogen Heap? I heard that one a few days ago, but I can't remember what it's called.

I'm not sure...I only caught the end of the song. The DJ didn't say who sang it or anything, but I'm certain it was Blue October. They have such a unique sound.
