Its been so long.
We made it this far.
But now that you're gone
A peice of my heart seems gone too.

It almost feels like it beats at half-pace
Just knowing you're not here.
Through thick and thin, we made it through
Until the very end.

I knew it was inevitable
I had to come sooner or later.
But this just feels too soon.
I wasn't ready for you to leave just yet.

I want to thank you for being there
And for giving me something to hold on to.
I wish now I could have given you more
But all I can give now is this:

You'll never really die, you see.
You'll live on forever inside of me.
