    Somber Walk

Shadows tracing trees of bloody leaves
Engulfing the Bright moon in brilliant red
Dripping gold from bags of thieves
Watching as bound young witnesses bled
To the night goddess their cry decieves
Who still lives and who will be dead
    Oracles crumbled, shimmered and shattered
Pieces of evidence soaring and scattered

    Past massacres and abandoned dread
Past serene castles where flowers bloomed
But traces of vain courting still shred
Any other joyful emotion that loomed
To darkness it's blissful smile is fed
It's old memories and future consumed
Till nothing but seeds hid in the ground
Afraid of thirsty demons coming around

Here lies photos revealing inner pain
Gathered from walks near and afar
Every glimmer of hope has been slain
Destroyed by the Idea of who we are
Cast into fire of this forbidding ordain
    Burning tints of emotions raw
Mercy shows no pity on these days
    Tangled together in decaying dismay

    Just the Same

It was a normal day in Kindergarten
As we played in the beating sun
Being with my brand new friend
I had never had so much fun

We raised our hands for roll call
As the teacher yelled each name
I could tell his skin was darker
But our palms were just the same

    Elementary School had begun
    The tasks became more tough
But he always stood beside me
    When things were getting rough

    We walked the halls together
Not feeling and ounce of shame
I could tell his skin was darker
But our palms were just the same

Next it was time for Junior High
    Where people started to change
Yet he never left my side when
All the others were acting strange

On stage in play I saw him clapping
As my first song met with acclaim
I could tell his skin was darker
But our palms were just the same

We had made it to High School
I was scared of everything inside
But I felt safe walking with him
As our feet were in perfect stride

He led me onto the dance floor
The night of the first home game
I could tell his skin was darker
But our palms were just the same

    Graduation had finally arrived
After waiting out four long years
As we put on our cap and gown
My eyes welled up with tears

    Walking towards the stage together
I heard cheers from the audience
And looking up at my best friend
I could see not one difference

    Taylor

I don't know if it's my best, but I just wrote it and really liked it.

    Unfaithful

Baby, I know exactly what you doing,
When your "with the guys", who are you fooling?
Don't think I don't know about her, because I do,
Yet even though I know, it’s hard to let go of you.

I saw you two kissing, late at night in the park,
I saw you two there, even if it was very dark.
That nearly broke my heart, I was just walking my dog,
You were a prince to me, but now just a lowly frog.

How could you be unfaithful to me, after all I've done,
You said you were going to marry me, and I would have your son.
What happened to that? Now you go breaking my heart?
Well, baby that's messed up, this is where we part.

You can have her; she won't be as good as me,
For I loved you so much, but this is the end baby.
You broke my heart, hope she breaks yours,
Hope she is a criminal and steals the stuff from your drawers.

Have a nice life, that you could've had with me forever,
But now it's too late, you and me don't belong together.
So, see you never, I love you none,
I hope you and your new girlfriend have no fun.

ya this aint my best but i coodnt decide..

    Write me this letter
    by Sarah

You never did anything wrong, Babe
If you did I have forgiven you
    You gave me everlasting love
Something to always looked forward to

I love you as much as you love me
I wanted to be there forever
Who knows whats going to happen
    Babe, Never say Never

I can still see you, Babe
And in your dreams you see me too
    I would never have changed
having shared my life with you

I know you wont believe me
I know how skeptical you are
but Im not really gone, Babe
    I havent gone that far

When the sun hits your face
and it lights up your eyes
    thats me shining down
    What a clever disguise!

You are making me proud, Babe
    Your soul needs a break
but Babe,u gotta stop blamin yourself
    For my silly mistake

I was with you that night
I came home and watched you sleep
I'm so sorry for leaving you babe
But my memory I know you'll keep

You looked so peaceful that night
Babe, I didnt want to wake you
I'm sorry you had to look for me
and all that you went through

But, Babe, I was with you
    That smile I sent down
    I know you needed it
I couldn't bear to see you frown

    I know you always worried
And now you say this is why
But I didnt know id die, Babe
This is not our last goodbye

Yes, Babe, you will see me again.
Ill be waiting to see your face
But, take your time in this life.
    Babe, its not a race.

Dont go to my grave, Babe
    Dont sit there and cry.
    You know I'm not there
    Babe, give happiness a try.

I'm gonna stick by your side
Your sad, its obvious to see
I want you to smile, Babe
Ill be close when you need me

I wish I could there with you,
and I appreciate all that you gave
I know you'll always love me
and I will always love you too, Babe

    Who am I?
    by †!♪~*`Bryce Dressler`*~♪!†

I am the twinkle in your eyes
the shooting star in the sky.
    The envious moon so bright
    shining alone in the night.

I am the soldier in Iraq
    the one who came back.
The one who won the war
and cant sleep at night anymore.

I am the terrorists from 9/11
who showed you what happens when
A nation lets down its guard
    and is forever emotionally scarred.

I am your sister and brother
    your father and your mother.
The main cause of domestic abuse
    and alcohol and drug abuse.

I am a blind and deaf leader
    the devil and grim reaper.
    Fallowing in my fathers path
    dealing out unmerciful wrath.

I am a country feared upon
killing many before the break of dawn.
My children dying in Iraq and Africa
I am the United States of America.

    -A Masked Costume Party

    Not overly late,
but silence instills beauty in the hearts of the dreaming.

    Those who aren't dreaming, however,
dress up in pretty words and tell the world of said beauty.

The Dreamers dream of lost memories, dream about the strangest things and
    of melting walls.

    Meanwhile,
the costume party continues outside of the surreal mansions and caves,

    Outside of ectoplasmic deaths
    and eternally happy lives,

The Non-Dreamers are dressed to kill and what better weapon of choice to brandish than the pen?

For what is mightier than the pen?
    The sword?
The child's toy gun in Africa?

    These cunning arsonists,
equipped with nothing but their own script can bare new dreams.

Just as the young successful man does the world...his oyster.

    They form these masks
    to wear to their parties
    to be seen.

To make destiny a memory on an eternal scroll.

To instill newborn beauty in the hearts of the waking Dreamers.

To make these dreams a sweet truth upon which the Dreamers can feed with a starved sweet tooth.

    And over the sweet horizon,
    the Dreamers themselves can
    join in.

Sew themselves some costumes and make themselves a part of the world's arsenal:

A costume party dressed to kill
where the Dreamers are naught but
    cyclic fodder for the penmen.

    Death, A Majestic Beauty

There is a place in the world,
Just for her, reserved for eternity,
An unknown wonder of life itself,
She sits atop a throne of power,
    Watching over all about her,

    Her clear blue, piercing eyes,
Flowing hair as white as forever,
Pale face; with no emotion to be shown,
Red lips of cherished blood taken,

    A majestic beauty,
    Holds her place,
    In this world,
Her presence known all too well,

    She takes the lives,
    Of whom she wishes,
    Choosing their death,
With no remorse in what heart she has,

    A body of perfection,
    A soul of sinister thoughts,
She sits atop a throne of power,
Controls Life of all that live,
    She's a majestic beauty,
    Of an unseen place,
    She is, Death.

    Your End

    Leaves move gently,
    Blowing in the wind.
    They move gracefully
    Until their end.

    Now frost covers the ground,
A silent chill rises in the air,
Things are lost that can't be found,
That sheild tears of silent cares.

But now can you seek out,
    The gently caressing wind,
The wind that covers your shouts,
And whispers around your final end.

    ~Out On The Tiles~

Each jagged edge bares its own unique pattern.
Patterns that diminish, but are soon recreated.
Recreated with similar differences, but not the same,
for "same" is just a metaphor for the truly impossible.

As each piece slips through lucent air,
they are preparing for their second decent.
A decent much less abrupt than that of the first,
for the first decent was all that mattered.

Now, that which was once whole, is shattered,
with each rise and fall pieces chip and settle.
Settle upon ground where they lay terrified,
terrified to see their eternal bonds forever broken.

Noise of shattering dulls, a new sound emerges,
its pattern obvious to those who have fallen.
A shadow covers the remains of what used to be,
what used to hold God's most beautiful creation.

The shadow disappears, yet darkness remains,
sounds of a rain stick fill the empty room.
A quick silence, and a new melody occupies the air,
melodies of a bag slowly filled with undesirable candy.

Tiny pieces left in the light are soon overwhelmed,
brushed under the stove where I stand exhausted.
No longer does my vase stand stocked with roses,
no longer is my apartment filled with their sweet aroma.

Watching the vase fall I realize our similarities,
analyzing each moment of its decent as my own.
The initial fall, instigated by that of a mere bump,
a slight mishap, with a devastating outcome.

~Too many times we let minuscule incidents rile us up. All too often these incidents escalate into something unmanageable. If we just chill out and go with the flow, major problems can be avoided. Unlike the vase, when we shatter the pieces are a whole lot easier to pick up. Don't leave your pieces lying out on the tiles, pick them up and put yourself back together. Life is too short to dwell on the past.~

Hey Brianna. Thanks for the comments. You are quite clever and in tune for your young age. Im glad you enjoyed my poems, although all are events that have really happened in my life, and what I seem to be going through. Writing on here has really become a good avenue to sort my feelings and make them known, even if it is to stranger. Again, Thanks
