I've just beenhaving a conversation with a friend on Glabal Warming, and wandered what everybody elses views were on the topic.
We feel that it is slightly disconcerting that we can't do anything on our own about it, and ifthe Earth's temperature rises by another 3 degrees, everywhere will flood.
Any views on the topic in general?

^^ LMAO. yesh, build lots of boats for when the world melts and the pools flood.

i think global warming sucks. but with high gas prices i dont think very many people are going to be driving and harming the ozone layer for much longer!!!

Well the thing with Global Warming is that we have to be aware of our environment and not speed up the heating process. Global Warming will come and go, and then there will be Glodal Cooling yehaw! But whatever, it's not a huge concern I find. I don't think the world will flood entirely. THe iceburgs will just melt and it'll just replace itself. It's the glaciers that are the only problem. Meh whatever happens happens, our world just has to be more environmentally conscious so we don't blow ourselves up or suffocate ourselves with gas.
    MEH!

Anyone who has been to the science museum in London should have read that climate change in history varies greatly and the world has been on an up surge in temperature over the last 8,000 years or so. It fluctuates up and down as millenia pass but we're nowhere near the hottest this planet has been in the past and the temperature change has very little to do with what we have done.

I'm not so big headed to believe that my life affects the entire planet on such a massive scale, after all would you blame the last ice age on Neanderthals?

Global warming is largely a myth.

The earth has much warmer before and also much colder.

The earth lives in cycles, we're in a warming cycle and it has little to do with what we're doing. The ozone layer is repairing itself after we did damage it, carbon footprinting appears to be a way to make oil last longer rather than innovating and trying to find a more efficient fuel source like hydrogen or the sun.
