Hi everyone,
what a hard time to find a reasonable poetry site where you are treated right. It has been so hard to find people who are willing to read your poetry and give you honest opinions on your work without hurting your feelings. Anyway, I have to look around a little more and see what else is going on here! Just wanted to stop by and say HI

just be active in the disscussion board then you met some people like me ... and if you have time go to the chat room .. kk

Gene is right, gurl! Post enough messages, and you'll meet enough people. The chat room is also a good idea, but not a lot of people use it....more people end up using the message boards to talk to other poets. However, the chatroom, as you probably know, is faster.

Anyway, I'll check out your poetry, and you can check out mine!!! I have two new poems out...."How You Made Me Cry", and "Lullaby". Search for them, check 'em out, and I'll look at your poetry, as well! Hope that you like Poems & Quotes as much as I do!!!!

Thank you for the info and the warm welcome!! My time is very limited during the day. I work and then I have a daughter that is a model so we are on the road a lot too. However besides those things and webdesigning and siggy making, I want to share of my poems. I usually write lots if something happens in my life. Recently I met Kevin and fell head over heel over him. To deal with those feelings I picked up the poetry once again.

Hey, I'm kind if new to this .. I'm not so good at poetry but i write what i feel and whatever comes out i write down. and its not really in poetry form but i think it expersses me well. hopefully ive come to the right site because i enjoy reading people work as well.

Even if you can write down how you feel, it works!! I have always been pretty good in writing poetry, even as a child. I don't always write but it is usually when a event happens in my life.
