I have my first driving lesson tomorrow and am kinda nervous! Has anybody else had their driving lessons in the UK yet, and if so how did it go??

You will be absolutely fine. There's nothing to worry about at all. Just relax and don't forget that you are there to make mistakes and learn by them and not drive perfectly straight away!

Let me know how you went on. Cheers.

    Mel's right.

Listen, learn and be patient. Relax and enjoy yourself. Once you have your license (and a car) you'll feel more free than you possibly thought you could be.

aww you will do fine...have not driven in the UK but was just there and almost did :) I am from the US and had to come home before I got a chance to try :) so for you I would say you will be just fine...for me would be a totally different story being the steering wheel and roads are the opposite to what I am used too ;)
GOOD LUCK and you will do great! :)

Ok just got back. It was really good and really easy! I did a lot surprisingly for my first lesson, was driving within 5 mintues and did junctions, hillstarts, roundabouts, gear change and drove home :O
Now I cant wait for my next lesson :]

Ahahahahah well done girl! There you go. Let that be a lesson for you in life: the actual doing is a lot easier than the thinking about it beforehand. Be brave in all that you do and it doesn't matter if you fail at something - it's knowing that you tried and gave it your best shot!
