Graphics topic. In need of some help!

I have my new graphics topic, and it is to compare graphic design throughout a series of time, for example war propaganda. But my friend has decided SHE is doing that so I have nothing. Does anybody have any ideas they can give me just to help me out and give me some leads?

Compare literature...or modern poetry versus old-fashioned writings...

That's all I can think of. Or perhaps fashions, styles of dressing.

I can't compare literature, it's not graphic design. It has to be like posters, propaganda, tins etc. But nothing is inspiring me.

who had the idea for the propoganda, if u did first, then use it, dont let ur friend steal it! lol!!

Well I put down "controversy" and then "propaganda" came into my head, so I wrote it on our brain storm, but then she went full steam ahead and got all of these ideas while I was on holiday so I now have nothing, and she gets annoyed when I start talking about doing propaganda. So I am totally lost.

How about food packaging of a certain brand or something, and how it's changed. Some brands are over 100 years old. A bit boring, I know, but I can't really think of anything else.

^^^X-men. hahah! Try to explain the changes in costumes, from blue and yellow spandex, to black. Seriously, all the characters had costume changes...

Anyway, all soda pop drinks, Fanta, Sprite, Pepsi, etc, had multiple bottles and labels..
