no one wants us to be together. . .

i've been with my boyfriend david; for almost 8 months now. but everyone doesnt want us to be together because we dont spend enough time with our friends.
i love him;; he is the best thing that ever happened to me. i just dont know what to do about my friends.
help please?

Spend mroe time with your friends. Balance you time between your friends and your boyfriend, or all hang out together.

Know that friends are there forever.. unlike boyfriends/girlfriends..And i can guarantee You,that friendship is more worth it.

Don't spend ALL the time with David..& don't give him EVERYTHING You have.. cause If he leaves You or whatever might happen,which i wish doesn't happen,well,You're left with nothing.

I think the saying friends are forever & boyfriends/girlfriens aren't is.. ridiculous.
You could spend the rest of your life with him.
So gosh.
Which do you prefer to spend time with?
Spend the equal amount of time with each.
That's if you like your friends enough to let them get in the way :)

At 14, I really really really doubt (yah, three really's) that she is going to spend the rest of her life with him.

If you do, well that's awesome. But I think for now you really need your friends. You don't have to break up with him, just balance your time a little better. Get your friends to hang out with his if you want, then you can be with both at the same time.

I don't check profiles to see how old they are. So yerrr.x

im going to really try and balance my time with both of them. & i know im only 14; but im also engaged with him. && i do plan on spending the rest of my life with him. but you all are right;; chances are we won't be together forever; but i wanna beat the odds.

Okay, are you sure that.... actually nevermind. Best wishes to you and him, just try not to let your friends get too far away. You will need them eventually for one thing or another.

It just seems so young to me. I'm 17 and I have no intention of getting engaged for a long time. I can't imagine being engaged now, not to mention 3 years ago. But you know, maybe I'm just weird or something.

At the age of 14, you don't have a full education, you don't even have a job. How are you suppose to support each other? Welfare? You parents?
That's not being mature or independent. You need responsibilities before you can jump into something like marriage. Stop trying to grow up too fast, because you'll be making huge mistakes. You're gonna get yourself hurt. But anyways, good luck, I wish you the best.

well actually; he's 17.
&& im getting mandated when im 16.
which is only a year and a hafe from now.
we dont plan on getting married anytime soon.
not until i atleast get out of highschool.

& you know; chances are [well in most cases] teenage love. . .never last. & thats what im scared of. I've giving this boy my everything. && i hope that we can make it. we've already been though so much just to stay together. i have faith in us.
