So I'm learning to skateboard, and was hoping for some tips. Anything really, stance, movement, whatever. :]

Thanks, yeah that helps a great deal!
I've only fallen off like two times, but I am preparing to fall lots and get broken bones :P
I've just discovered a skate park about 15-20 mintues away from me so I shall also be going there :]

My best advice for you Kim, Is TRY NOT TO FALL OFF!

Lmao. When I first started, I fell off it so much. I didn't know what I was doing. Lmao.. And then I was at the skatepark, and the boys were like, Cmon, Nat, do a trick, show us what ya made of. ..So yeah. I tried. But I hurt myself...

i recommend tensor trucks..for street skating very light, and they last a few months.

Also when learning new tricks, it was easier for me to learn them while in motion. If you learn how to land a heelflip in motion it will be easy to do it in place.

Also after a month of skating..you develop these reflexes that you can pretty much catch yourself from totaly busting your butt or landing on your face, but when you start skating obstacles...yea they don't help much, but flat ground skating is alot less painless...

Just watch the early tapes of Jason Lee and Tony Hawk. They invented most of the moves you see today, learn from the masters.
