Responsible Effective Citizen

Hey, I'm doing this project for Social Studies about citizenship. I have to do a poster all about what a responsible effective citizen is about. I need everyone's opinion about what they think a responsible effective citizen is. Some things I have to base it on is knowledge, attitude, education, etc. But this is a personal opinion thing. So what do YOU think a responsible effective citizen is?

One thing is if they are of voting age that they actually try to participate in elections and make a decision based on that persons politics instead of other things. And that they follow laws well at least attempt to follow most... I can't think of anything else right now.

A productive member of society. One that enjoys life, has friends and adds to the greater whole.
