20 years agomy brain isn't functioning well so i can't remember the saddest. a sad story that popped into my mind is from one of the chicken soup books.
this guy, (let's name him ed) ed turns 16 or 17 and everyone expects his dad to give him a new car. when it was his b-day, ed's dad gave him the Bible. ed was so mad and disappointed that he threw the Bible at his dad and took off. since that day, they never saw each other again. years passed by and ed now has a family. he still hasn't spoken to his dad until one day, he was informed that his father died. so he goes home and sees the Bible still where he left it. he takes it and opens it. inside was a check signed to ed so he can buy himself a new car that day.
isn't that awfully sad? -
