XXCalling all Challengers for a battle ContestXX

Rules:
-New
-No Cussing
-Must follow guidelines
-Preferably Rhymes in the first contest

The first Contest is to Write a 4 stanza poem that is about YOUR secret confessions.
-Then I will choose 8 people to continue on

The Second contest for those 8 people will be to write a Triolet about anything. Then I will pick 4 people to battle an all out battle

The final contest will be to write a nature haiku.

I really like this idea...So I think I'll try it. I just need time to write a new poem..and I don't have a lot of time anymore.

My Confession

I'll tell you of my secret confessions,
Of all my lies and imperfections.
I'll tell you of all the love to display,
For the hungry soul has much to say.

I'll start out with a simple question
To begin my tale of confessions.
Have you ever felt a love that grew
You know you will never love anew?

The screaming does not protest,
Against a simple soft caress.
A small hidden truth is this:
I fell in love by a gentle kiss.

True love can never be explained;
It can tell a story but never be named.
My tale is with a final confession:
I love with all my heart; that's my imperfection.

I Didn't Do It

I didn't do it
That's my story
I'm sticking to it.

It wasn't me who wrote those things
Upon the bathroom wall
I wasn't there, I guarantee
It was someone else entirely.

It wasn't me who took your car
And drove it in the creek
I swear I didn't go that far
Someone's out to get me.

You say a kid was seen out back
When your dog went missing
But I swear the gate was intact
Someone else was there I'm guessing.

Why do I get blamed for everything
That's done wrong around here
It wasn't me, I'm not the one,
I'm innocent, I SWEAR!!!!!
I cross my heart and hope to die
This ain't no lie, can't you see
The God's honest truth, is what I'm saying
A lie would just come back to haunt me.

[I know this is longer than it's suppose to be, but this little idget in my computer kept adding to it]
