This is for all you mellow people out there lol. Pick ONE of our titles and write a poem about them. They can be sad, happy, peaceful, just no anger or rage cause that’s not beautiful. Inspiration poems are good for this contest ;)

We will judge when all the titles have a poem to go with them. Or when the contest totally dies down.

There will be a position given will be for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and runner up. But we will comment on all your fab poems that were entered.

I will do my best
To mold you gently
Above all the rest

No matter the cost; there is no regret

Every need of yours is met

Making sure you are set

Reaching deep within each chest
Pumping a heart so a body is fed

Circular Breathing

Tap...Tap...Tap...
The rain dances on the tin
Across the darkened sky it flies
Seeking refuge from within.

A simple tip of water
From the clouds that wandered by
Hoping to give earth a drink
With it's sweet lullaby.

Sinking in the meadow
To a daisy there at play
Who opens up its petals
And reap what God has made.

A honey bee so hard at work
Gathers nectar from it's bud
And flies into the raindrops
With a courageous love.

Up to the heavens it takes wing
To drop its sweet perfume
Upon the very clouds that tipped
The water from the moon.

Tap...Tap...Tap...
The drops are heard, then seen
Like lively little dancers
Taking time to breathe.

-Hide And Seek.-

A day at the beach, just Mother and I,
Hand in hand, walking along the shore,
Looking down at me, she let out a sigh,
Bearing a look that I had never seen before.

She lifted me up and put me over her shoulder,
Laughing, I asked where it was that we were going,
"To play a game" she said, sitting me on a boulder,
The sweat beads on her forehead hardly glowing.

"Cover your eyes and count to sixty", she said smiling at me,
As she stood up and started to walk the other way,
I became a little anxious; "... Fifty-nine, Sixty!"
Uncovering my eyes, they shot down to the bay.

My rubber boots squished into the wet sand,
As I walked along, calling out her name,
Wishing she would come out to hold my hand,
Ready to go home, so sick of this game.

May fourteenth - - nineteen-seventy-five,
A day I'll never forget, still running down my cheek,
The day my Mother left me to take a long dive,
Leaving me with a solo game of hide-and-seek.

Recapturing The Vibe

We use to be perfect together.
We use to have fun.
We use to make plans to stay
together and to become as one.

I don't know what happened.
Somehow we got lost along the way.
I thought that we would be together,
until our dying days.

But I was so wrong.
I guess our love was based on lies.
But I'm still in love with you and I
really want you back.

So I'm asking you,

can we start over?
Can we give it another try?
Do you think deep down in your
heart we can try recapturing
the vibe?

I use to call you every night.
Just to hear your voice.
And whenever you said I love you
the words were never forced.

I gave you my heart back then, and
you gave me yours too.
That's why I just can't let go.
Because our love just can't be through.

So I'm asking you,
