the word "love"

The word "love" I believe, is being thrown around like any other word... has the world lost its grip on what love really means?

Love is for everyone.
Old or young.
It's given different meanings by whoever uses it. It's never had one set meaning has it?
If it has, i'm disturbed cos the love i have my family is veeeeery different from my fiance...

I also agree that it is being thrown around. People shouldn't abuse the word "love". It has meaning to it.

Hey ! We`re not the only people throwing that word around ! Can`t go blamin` it on us youngins` all the timee . I don`t throw that word around, and neither do my friends . Some people I kneow do, but there are different kinds of lovee . If it`s set on just one meaning ... then that`s one f`d up word since it`s used so much with different people xD
Like the person above me seyd, "There is lust, infatuation, admiration, etc."

i think that people do throw the word "love" around alot. They use it excessivly, and ecspecially if they don't mean it. I see people who've been going out for 2 days and say "i love you" but then break up 2 days later...get the pciture?

I think that the word "love" is extremely overused.. And I think most of the time, people don't even love the people they say they do... They are just "In love with being in love" so to speak...

A post up there said that love doesnt have a set meaning. I agree with that sort of ... but the way people throw it around these days is horrible. And then when you do love someone they dont believe you because everyone else says it. =S every aspect of love is confusing

Yeah love is konfusing . I hate it when people go seying "I love you" to me or my friends, and then break up with them a couple days later . It hurts and then yu just question whether it was true or nott . Yah` feel ?
