Wow, the exact same thing happened to my sister. She really liked this boy that lived a few hours away and they took her cell phone and home phone from her. She ended up running away for a weekend and when she came back home, she almost got kicked out. I asked her if it was worth it. She said no. Turns out, the guy was an a-hole, and yeah. Well, anyways I don't know what you should do, there so many possibilities.. hope it works out.

Sending letters is not such a bad thing
They are so much more personal than emails and what not.
I know it's not the same as seeing him and hearing his voice, but you can still stay in contact that way if you have him write to you under a different name so your parents don't find out.
Tell them it's a girl mate of yours.
