I was wondering when the legal age is to move out and your parents cannot do anything about it. I heard you can move out at 16 but is that only when your parents say its ok?

I heard that it's 16, too. But at the same time, you're not legally an adult until you are 18, so it's kind of confusing.

In the U.S. you can get immancipated (spelled wrong) at 16. But you have to go to court or something with your parents. Like if they don't want you too. But legally without the whole immancipation thing you can move out at 18 which is what im going to do

you can at 16, 16 is considered a grey zone because most crimes at sixteen are charged as adults, sixteen is the age you must be to drop out of school too, yet if your 18 you can leave youe cell phone number as the home # because your parents are considered guardians
