I was pretty much going to say what Natalie just summed up- but to focus more on the dress: I'd firstly dip the entire dress in a tea AND coffee solution (your looking for a rugged or perhaps a dark look) and then lightly burn the hemming and use some BLACK lace and quickly (but neatly) sew it on at the bottom, leaving perhaps a gap of 1.5 centimetres from the hemline and above. The black lace does not necessarily need to be too thick. It could just be 2 cm in width, perhaps less than that. |

Thank you both tremandously. I've asked varous people at school to help me, and we're trying to get everything orginized so we can go to my friends house and attack this dress. I wasn't sure about a corset, the top of the dress is already relitively tight, and my ribs cage is already basicly breath-ably restricted and I like the button design... Although it's not too piraty. |
