can i put a description in the poem?

certainly, if you want to... a lot of people don't read beyond the poem though

you could add it after the poem, or comment on your own poem so that you leave the poem and the explanation separate

If you dont include it in your poem its better to put it at the begginning because it is less likely to be read if at the end.
