Okay, well it depends. If you're looking to spend a reasonable amount on one, there are a few good brands i can recommend. Mine now is 5 mega pixels. It's a pretty good camera. My old one was a vivitar, it was awesome. It worked great. I also recommend samsung, it's a good brand as well. The best part about vivitar, is that it doesn't cost much, but works great. ^ I agree, it might be a good idea to get one with a charger or adapter. Mine requires batteries, and they run out pretty quickly regardless of the brand.

I'm not sure how much it costs, but I have an Olympus SP-700; I love it!

Good luck finding your perfect camera!

You might like DXG 552C 5.1MP Digital Camera. It's small, and not only can you take pictures, but record as well. It's not much money either.

i have a good digital camera, i forgot the name, but i think it's an olympus, and it was only $200-250

=you should look at the megapixels, the higher the better (6.0 is the best)

-digital zoom, the higher the number the better

-make sure it has sound, not all cameras do ( i bought my camera without knowing it didn't have sound)
