hey everybody, i was just wondering if anybody here speaks polish, it seems we're dying out....=(

I don't speak polish :( but I'd love to learn. Are you form Poland or is passed down from your family?

well my mom was born in Poland and my father is greek and hungarian, so yea its passed down. i'm only 50% polish

Sorry I don't know it but it sounded interesting when I first heard the language.

That sounds pretty cool. It must be nice to have such a rich cultural background.

Tak, Moviun Tilke troche Po Polschu [typed phonetically]..my girlfriend is Polish and I'm learning so I can chat away to her parents this Christmas....beautiful langauge...though quite difficult for a Scottish lad...there are some wacky sounds in there...almost like clearing your throat all the time.

I went to a polish wedding a couple of years back, so I learnt the simplest things. Fantastic language, the entire service was polish. Very confusing! But it was the best wedding I'd ever been to..

i love the polish language...beautiful...don't know how to speak it. I can speak several other languages.

Not all though! Just the major ones! My bff lived in Poland...speaks Polish
