blind dates

ok i was talkin to my dad about our winter dance and how im the only one in my group w/o a date so he tells me he knos sum1.well i thought he was kiddin w/ me...he wasnt.its 1 of his friends sons & i kno the guys uncle & hes cool but i havent met the guys...
johnny(the guys uncle) is supposed 2 bring him to my dads house sumtime but the dance is the 2nd of next month!!!
im so nervous cuz hes a family friend but what if i dont like him or he doesnt like me?help am i stupid 2 b this nervous about this?

Don't look at it as a blind date. Instead thik of it as meeting a new friend. Start with friendship then see where it goes.

If you start a relationship looking for romance then there is unnecessary (sp?) pressure that can doom a friendship before it can even be formed.

I agree with both Kristen and Sherry-Lynn. Try to have a good time but don't expect it to be this epic romance. Just think of it as hanging out with a new friend :)
