How lucky you are, you who are aout to read this poem for the first time. I hope your read it when your alone, and your flesh creeps, your skin crawls, and your blood turns to ice in your viens.

I had read lots of Poes works before, some short stories and poems. I had excepted the Raven to be the same thing only in rhyme. I was partly right. You find the same world in all of Poes works. Half horror, half ecstasy, But I hadn't excepted the power of the verse. I hadn't excepted to have my figers tapping, heart racing, and waiting the ravens downing relply, "nevermore".
Read the poem please, you can find it anywhere, tell me what u think...

The Raven is great, but so is The Bells, Anabelle Lee, and The Conqueror Worm.
