I live in Toledo and they are making such a big to do out of it...I like the fact that I'll be able to go to a resteraunt and be able to eat my food without cigarette smoke blowing up my nose...Now I know there are smoking and non-smoking sections....but even when I've been placed in non-smoking....I still can smell the smoke....Also, I know a couple ladies who are pregnant (my pastors wife being one of them), she can barely go any where because she doesn't want to walk into a room and smell cigarettes burning (not only would it be unhealthy for the baby but it makes her sick)...
I don't think they should take away all smoking rights....You can't ask someone to just STOP smoking..thats like telling a lady going into labor to stop pushing and not have the baby....its hard not too and would take time...ahh maybe the baby thing wasnt a good comparison but you all know what I mean.....But I do feel like instead of having smoking and non-smoking areas inside buildings they should have them simply step outside where no one is....Where I am from and what I see a lot is people doing that, so smokers are very respectful of the non-smokers...
I dont know...its peoples choice to smoke, so I don't feel that the government can tell someone to STOP smoking when people have a choice whether they want to or not....but it'd be nice to not have to deal with smelling it and come up with a better way (like I said just simply step outside and smoke) rather than breathing it all in.....
I guess it is a positive thing though.....it might make people quit smoking...I'm trying to use the Smoke Free Ohio thing to get my dad to stop

I don't really "talk" to my daddy about quitting...its more of encouragement...I don't want my kids to be Grandpasless in another 20 years so I am trying to encourage him to stop because I understand how frusterating it'd be to constantly have your wife and daughter be saying "Quit smoking! Put out the cigarette"...here and there I'll ask "why are you lighting another one when you just smoked before we went into the store"...its hard, but I'm hoping maybe the Smoke Free Ohio will help some people to quit and get their health back in shape

hmmm well thats you Fallen Princess......I'm not saying you don't love your family I am sure you do, but I love my dad to much to see him damage his lungs and take more and more steps to his death.

You might have had a Grandpa, but I didnt and you might be different then me, but I hurt every holiday and every time I hear my grandmas voice knowing my Grandpa isn't here and I couldn't meet him. I don't want my kids to have to hurt because they never met their Grandpa......I guess are stories are a little different.....But whatever thats life
