Sports in different generations

I would love to answer you if I could.... but I really don't know :(.... the best bet would be to search on google and type in "early sports 60s" or something like that... :)

I am told that in the 1950s and 60s this was played by students at elementary schools in Northern Mexico and the Southwest U.S. It may have been played elsewhere too but I don't know.

I know that soccer (futbol) was as popular then with school students in Mexico as it is now. But it wasn't really played much in the U.S. until some time in the 1980s.
