i don't even know him...

my friend's grandfather just died and i feel so down. i don't even know him, yet i'm so sad. i already sent my friend a card but it feels that it wasn't enough. i don't know why i feel this way...

I don't have any, but I know someone that does. Theres a girl named Leigh at my school who wrote an excellent poem about her grandfather. I'll see if I can talk her into posting it on here. Its well worth reading.

awww... thanks you guys. oh, i still feel sad today. i cried at school for the same reason and i still feel weird about it. i saw his name on the obituaries yesterday. what are the odds that i will pick the very same newspaper his family contacted? anyways, thanks again.
