you made a post saying it was the 10th??

"Ok Umm, Bryan - the due date will prolly be January 10th unless everyone gets their poems done before that. And I'll judge it by the 13th."

yeah so i hope you keep it at the tenth so here's my poem if its too late then i guess it just wont be judged

"crimson traces"

I remember it so clearly,
When my life was less dreary.

When smiling came, so naturally,
And happiness, so easily.

But then there came, that dreaded day,
When you took all my love away.

You left me crawling, wanting more,
Helplessly stuck on the floor.

Without a choice, my mind was made
To go along, with how you played.

So through the storms and the rain
I was stuck, soaked in disdain.

But slowly I, broke away
Knowing that I couldn’t stay.

I searched for smiles, searched for joy,
With only heartache, to destroy.

I ran away, from pain and tears,
To watch as my blood clears.

Its been so long, since my break down
You’d think by now, I’d know no frown

But still it follows, where I go
Could be forever, for all that I know

Cause I follow smiles, and happy faces
But still always leave, deep crimson traces

that was an amazing poem ^ good job. The only line that didn't flow right was this one.

it was like a syllable short. Good job though!

She wakes up early In the day
Gets dressed and does her hair
She glances into the mirror
Pondering why life isn’t fair

She takes out her make-up kit
And sets it to the side
Adds on a layer of cover up
In this process she will hide

Mascara goes on her lashes
And Eyeliner on her eyes
As the fake smile fades
She lets out little sighs

She pulls out the blush brush
And bronzes her rosy cheeks
All this happens everyday
It’s been going on for weeks

Last she’ll put on lip gloss
As a finishing touch
she looks into the mirror
And sees she tries to much

She’ll go to school with other kids
Who look the same as she
Remembering the happy times
The way she used to be

Materialistic matter
Fills her soul with hate
So in the night when no ones there
Porcelain tears will break

i hade mine reserved and since you didnt post saying that you changed the date, i hope you'll except my poem cause i really enjoyed writing it. and the title was amanzing!

aww thanks.. and yeah i noticed that too in my poem the more i read it.. i just cant find a way to fix it lol

umm...how about add "to KEEP watch" maybe that would do it. Lol just a suggestion. I really liked it though.

when is this going to be judged if im correct everything is taken/done

I'm really sorry this is taking longer than I thought. But if you'll just be patient then I'll have it judged in a couple days...I got really busy over the past couple days and I just don't have the time. So in just a couple days. Thanks for waiting! :)

So sorry about the date mix-up....I have two other poems that were being judged last week and I thought this one was too I just got confused. But I'll go ahead and judge it today. And I'll just never do three contests at once again, lol. Sry again and results are coming soon! :)
