Has anyone seen the movie Freedom Writers?

B/c i have and it is so good and emotional.But what they say in the movie is so true about gang violence.
Does anyone else agree??????????????????

yeah the film may stray a bit from the actual life of hilary swank's character (can't remember her name right now) but regarding the brutality of gang violence in certain areas, it's right on target. that movie had me crying...probably about two or three times through the whole thing...but I'm lame like that. It WAS an amazing movie though. I love Hilary Swank!

i saw half that movie about two years ago. i guess the rest of it wasnt done yet cause it just sorta stopped playing. then i had to tell this lady at the movie theather what i thought of the movie

I haven`t seen it yet but since I work with kids that are sometimes in gangs, my job is paying for our whole staff to go on the 24th ,then we are meeting to discuss it I am anxious to see it.

I cried soo much during that movie. My boyfriend thought I was a little too dramatic. Lol. But I don't care that movie was deffinatly one of the best teen inspirational movies I've ever seen. Did you know it's a true story?

yeah there's also a novel called The Freedom Writer's Diaries or something like that.

I didn't know it was a true story. I was also crying too my friends thought that i was crazy for crying during a movie about gang violance but o well they just don't what its like until they have experianced it in real life either.

Is there really i didn't know that. Do u know where u can check that book out and read it i think it would be so kool to read it don't u guys.
