The Notebook is ridiculous. An absolute waste of money and a complete chick flick.

Essence, on the other hand, back off; Legolas and Aragorn are MINE. ;]

"Do you have any idea what the Notebook was about? Have you ever watched someone you love suffer from alzheimiers? You know you've lost them but they're still alive..a shell of the person you once knew..they don't know you, they don't even know themselves anymore. If you're lucky they will sit still, looking vacantly around, if not, in my case, you will pace up and down with them endlessly trying to make sure they get enough fluid/food inside them because they can't do that for themselves. Have you ever said goodbye to someone you love and have them just walk away, regardless of your tears...take another look at The Notebook and please take your own notes...it could happen to your family one day!"

^It's a film, Liz, get over it. I don't think ANYONE who hated it first time round would ever want to watch it again, especially if your asking them to take notes (yeah right!) Thing is, I have had to let go of some people, and not always in the nicest way I've wanted to. I understand what you mean- but there was so much more to the book than what the film happened to show.

    It's a shame, really.x
