What do you do if...

What do you do if you want to tell the person your with to tell them that you love them without being afraid that they might hate you for it?

I've been with my boyfriend for 7 months going on 8 on February 14th.

I want to call him and tell him what I feel about him, I dunno why. I guess I kept it in for going on 8 months and that I believe we should be faithful and I seriously want him to know I do love him.

The first time he said he loved me was on our 5 or 6th month mark and when we were about to hang up he's like I love you to death. I do believe him.

I just don't know how to, you know, tell him I love him without getting afraid that he'll hate me.

if he really loves you, why would he hate you if you love him back??
if he does hate you for telling him you love him, then i don't really think he should've said "I love you to death."
but if he does love you like that, wouldn't he want to know if you love him back or not?

No one is going to hate you for saying you love them, that's just crazy. EVERYONE wants to be loved, even if a random person walked up to me on the street and said they loved me I wouldn't hate them for it.

I really don't understand your predicament. If I were you, I'd be more afraid to not tell him.

But who am I to give advice? The longest relationship I've had was two months (on the dot...the jerk didn't realize that we started going out two months ago. Not the brightest match in the box.)

why would he hate you if you tell him you love him. if he loves you back that's good, and if he likes you just give him time to love you.
