Bullet To The Head [The Postman] {Rondeau}

'I'm her infection, her one detection,'
Stated the postman [to my correction.]
'But, she's my wife!' I was curt to state,
Baffled by certain thoughts and quick to faint.
'And unlike you I'm her one erection.'

I muttered soft, 'I'll be your infection,'
And took out a gun for my selection.
Was quick to turn before I took the bait -
'. . . I'm your infection.'

Bullet to his head as my confession,
'I didn't do it!' I was quick to date,
But muttered under my breath 'It was his fate
That set him againt my own detection -'
'. . . I'm your infection.'
