The Storyboard!!!!!

Here you can post short stories you have written or long stories. I will start first and see how it all goes :)

As I sit here in this dark and dank library and ponder over what text I needed. As I look through the rows of books and rolls of parchments I turn to sit at my desk when I see a piece of parchment hidden under my desk. I get on all fours and I grab a my chair and pull it closer to my desk and set the parchment on the desk.

I could tell it was really old give or take 200 years. Crumpled all over and torn on the bottom left corner. As i bend to look closer I see that the text is faded in some parts and perfect in other spots. I get up and look for a spare candle, as I find one i close the door and go back to my desk to light the candle. I reach for the parchment and start to read.....

Year 298 The month Jima the day 25th. From the hand of Lucas V

Where has these creatures come from I ask myself after I see these huge animals in the fields. There I was taking my afternoon horse ride when I felt an incredable amount of wind blow past me. All I could do was hold on to my horse, poor Ima was so scared. As I climb off of her I see an impression on the ground of the field. It is the biggest imprition that I have ever seen in my 24 years of life. I put my hand down to measure it but my hand doesn't fill it. I have to put my other hand down and spread the fingers before I reach the other end. What type of animal is this! I pick up Ima's riens and started to walk her along the impressions on the field. What I saw would have given me a heartache if I wasn't in awe. There sat a beautiful......

And there is where the text started to fade. I sit back with a sigh and run my hands over my face. What where those creatures Lucas saw and what did those impressions look like! Oh how I ache to be where Lucas was. To see that discovery to witness a look at a new creature! I grab the candle a carefully hold it over the parchment making sure I don't drip hot wax on the paper...

.....creature I look down to its feet and see where those impressions came from and see how sharp those 4 claws were. I also noticed that it had 2 hide legs and 2 forepaws. With scales a color of deep white almost grey with the scales as sharp as any well knife sharped to its finest point. Along with the claws came the 12 foot long tail with a round end with spikes all over it. This creature must have been 20 feet tall just sitting down. It had a long neck and a big head with 2 slits as nostrils and a fork tongue that flickered in and out of its snout. It had 2 small ears at the top of its head and when it yawned I saw that its mouth had sharp pointy teeth at least a finger length in size. I look up and see its eyes looking down at me. In those deep green eyes I saw intellegence gleam in them and a deep knowledge that goes beyond what our own little minds could comprehend in a life time. It turns its head to the side and i'm finally free to look away and see two wings sprot from its back and fan out. It's wingspan measures to 6 feet and it kicks off with its powerful hind legs. It starts to fly in circles as if it wants to show off for me. All of a sudden it opens its mouth and out spouts fire. I could feel the heat on my face and I back up a few steps so as not to feel the intensity of the heat as much. It did this for half an hour before it wheeled off to the north. As I saw this creature fly away a sudden thought came to my mind. "Dragon.....Iceclaw.....male" I get this chilling feeling that this creature, I mean Dragon sent this to me to tell me what he is and his name as well....

I look down in woder at this new bit of knowledge that I have wonderfully stumbled upon. I wonder is there still more out there was he the last of his kind? Or if he is even still alive. So many questions unanwsered. I get up and start to look for more about these fantastical creatures. And to my most sheer disappointment there is no more references to these creatures called dragons.....
