Ok Mardi Gras means "fat tuesday" in friench. It's a holiday were we eat as much meat before ash wednsday wich is the first day of Lint for all the Catholics. And also the day Jesus was put on the cross, lint is the 12 weeks before easter. Mardi Gras is for eating rich food before fasting during lint. During lint, on friday's you cannot eat meat. ((Catholic...mainly cajun holiday))
