My first miscellaneous poem- I Like Skirts That Live

i read it & it is wonderful! absolutly loved it! i'd appreciate any comments on any of my poems! left a comment & a 5! great work!

Sorry I deleated it but for a poem wih so much non cliche potential I just felt it came short. Can I give you some suggestions?

I like skirts that float around my knees
Like cobwebs.
I like skirts that chase when I run
And dance with me.

You could give us more than this if you wanted to :)
Cobwebs are whispy in the wind, aren't they? Or held together frail from being worn out. Maybe it's a new web and is held together. You can relate it to the threads or the way it moves in the mind.

And how does it make you feel when it dances around you. Try and connect it to an emotion

I would like to be able to do that maybe later. It might be interesting. I am more of a fan of sad poems and will be sure to check some of yours out later tonight : ) Keep up the writing
