He changed my whole view on everything.

My best friend Mikey confronted to me that I was living a life that the world wanted me to live. And I've thought about it and it was true. It was the truth and it was so damn hard to accept it as. But once you swallow everything down you can't run from the truth. You can only run for so long but some how your going to run out of breath and have to face everything.

I know you all are going to be like why you posting this up? I've learned that some of us are living the life of the way that the world wants us. We say that we aren't but inside we really do know where not living our own life.

To me it's true. We're afraid to get the hell out of our shell and live up to the world.

Like the saying "The the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world."

I think that's the danger, though. You get thinking like that, and it will always be "I'll change, in a year." But it won't happen. There will always be something that could hold you back. "I WOULD be my own person, except i might get fired/lose friends/ get disapproval. The point it... if you're going to change, you have to DO IT. Now. No matter the situation. Otherwise... you miss the point. Now, i'm not saying this in specific to the person I quoted from - that's just the warning I have to give from what you said.
