14.

It's was my birthday today. It feels so strange to be 14, so suddenly. My dad says that every seven years is a new stage.. it goes from 7-14 and then 14-21... so this is like, the third stage, or something, in which I am becoming an adult.
The good news is that I ate right for a week, cleaned up my diet extensively and suddenly my horrible acne problem is gone. :-D I attribute it to cutting out all the sugar and white starch, like bread and pasta, drinking fruitjuice and eating lots of fruit salad and vegetables and also snacking on avocado and goat's cheese instead of candy... it made the world of difference. I can actually wear a tank top these days, instead of having to hide under a T-shirt.
This coming new I'm going to make a real effort to be happier, at least to act more cheery and welcoming towards other people instead of being dark and dreary.

Happy 14th! What you said reminded me of what I learned in a class about King Arthur. In those days, if you were a boy and wanted to be a knight, your life was set up like that: "enfant" from 0-7, child from 7-14, page from 14-21, and then when you turned 21, you could be knighted. So it's cool that your dad spoke in those terms...

I hope your 14-21 and past stage is excellent!

Hey, thanks for all the "happy birthdays".
Today they threw me a suprise party. Oh my gosh, I was so shocked at first. My dad took me out shopping and to lunch and a movie all day, then I got back and all my favorite people in the world were there to shout "Surprise!" when I walked in the door.
It was my first suprise birthday party. And my last, I guess... I don't think you can have two suprise birthday parties, because the coming year you will always be suspicious.. hahahah.
It was somewhat awkward in a way because it didn't really occur to me how to act... but then I relaxed and had a great time :-D
Oh.. and I was a 7-month baby, born two months early... hehehe, always in a hurry, that's me :)
