Is this poetry website just like the music business

All the most popular poems that win week after week ive noticed arent all that great. They arent bad, but ive read much better poems on this site by people most of you have never heard of. In the music business, bands take a song and play it over and over on the radio until everyone knows it so when it comes to the music awards they think the band and song is great because it was on the radio so much so naturally it has to be good. well the same thing is happening on this site. all the popular poets are the ones who do the whole read and rate my poem for one of yours or rate 5 of my poems for 5 of yours. its not a big issue, just something i find funny. very few actual good poems will ever make a dent on this website while people with limited vocabularies can practically run this site

Yes you are right,but i don't find it funny,i find it foolish
But you can't do anythiing,the whole life have a bunch of that

again i dont want to say anyone is a bad poet, it just seems like the best poets on this site arent getting any recognition
