Why were my posts deleted?

i posted two topics last night and for the life of me i cant find them today. i went deep into every category. i could understand one of them being deleted but even that would be ridiculous but the other was just asking how to improve. I wish i would have gotten an email with a reason rather than a childish delete and no response. If i am an idiot and this diddn't happen and for some reason i just couldnt find them, im sorry for ranting but im pretty sure it was deleted. well ttyl and i hope this one isnt deleted.

Mine often get deleted when I challenge a mod, or swear without all the right characters that is not directed at anyone, even though some of the mods swear. YAY>

i diddnt swear. i looked through every darned section. in one of the posts, i talked about something i did and then said but no harm was done, so dont worry mods.
thats the one i can see being deleted, but the other was completely unrelated to that one. hmph.

forget it. it was deleted once itll probably be deleted again if i posted it again. anyways i just wish i was informed when it was deleted, with a reason. thanks for your guy's help. later.

I just had a post deleted as well! The mods are corrupt! I had a post, a message to all members, to join my club...and a mod frickin deleted it!?! How does that make sense? This is messed up.

Two days ago i posted a topic asking about their astrological signs on Other forum,i couldn't see anything wrong to have it deleted

Abuse of power.

To be honest I am amazed that some threads are still here. I personally do no t think that they should even be posted ... like the post in love and romance titled "I Saw God" or the post titled "Virgin".

Since when does sex or a "virgin test" have anything at all to do with poetry. Also considering that their are little children (under 16) that come on this site and read the forums I feel that discussing how great it was to lose someones virginity is totally uncalled for.

I am speaking as both a parent and an adult when I say that there are many people on here who need to grow up and think before they start posting anything and everything.

Why was my thread promoting my club in the Member's Message forum deleted? Haha, it wasn't exactly assinine. You delete threads on absolutely no grounds at times. I understand some threads being deleted. However, it seems you delete the acceptable onces, and leave the truly inappropriate. Someone explain this to me.

Oh, I have another question for the mods. Actually, two. Can you estimate when the chat room will be back up? And, why don't I see any new awards? I should have at least a bronze C and gold D, by now. Can anyone contact Dainz? It's incedibly frustrating how rarely Dainz or Janis make an appearance.

Haha, this thread will disappear with time, as with the comment. I would rather hang onto the praise, but it isn't a traumatic issue :)

I am impatient with certain things, yes. The chatroom and personal awards would help promote my poetry club, and draw in the crowd I want to gather.

AND, why can't I edit my poems?!??!!?!!???!?! Who's responsible for this blasphemic chaos!? BAh!

Not every forum has to be about poetry, but common sence should take place. This is not an adult site and I want to be the one to explain to my children the risk and benifits of adult relationships... not some stranger on the internet passing along false information!

Since when did poems-and-quotes.com become an adult porn site? Or again when did it become a teenage daycare center? Yes, Kristen, most people that post on here do so with respect, but it is the few that abuse the site who make it difficult for everyone.

I also find it very frusterating that everyone is crying about the mods abusing their power and demanding answers. The mods should not have to answer to anyone except for Janis or Dianz.

I do not see a long line of people volunteering to step out in the street while total strangers beat the crap out of them knowing that they cannot fight back. However; the mods on this site do it everyday thanklessly.

I for one say give credit where credit is due. Yes, they make mistakes along the way but so does everyone else. The difference is that they are willing to take the bullcrap for their mistakes without anyone ever saying thank you.

Bob, Ann Marie, Joe, Kevin, and all the other mods: THANK YOU for trying to keep this site family oriented where my children can come and grow in a respectable fashion! Thank You for searching the forums endlessly for those few that abuse everything and everyone just to rebel. Thank You for respondin to every complaint and praise made on a poem without hesitation! THANK YOU for putting up with the tiresome and endless bullcrap without a break. THANK YOU for just being there!
