Is the Happy Medium a Miserable Mediocrity?

Perhaps those satisfied with little achieve greater happiness. It makes sense. However, I believe in extremeties, risk-taking, and adventure. Simplicity bores me at times. I suppose, in a sense, I agree with Mr. Pooter. All or nothing. Medium is sticky and uncomfortable.

I say it's sort of a combination of peach and plum. Quite delicious really.
