Rejection being sweet?

Who would of thought being rejected would feel so good.
my best friend just happened to be in love with me for the past year. and today i told him that i liked him too. and he had the courage to say, "i dont think you and i would work, after everything we have been through itll be easier on the both of us if this just stay the way there are." and despite the fact that i just got rejected i havent been happier. i am so proud of him. i hurt him alot and i regret it and it took alot for him to say what he said.

thought id share this with you, since how often can you say rejection is sweet.

The same thing happened to me and my best friend ((actually, I liked one of my best friends, my other best friend liked me, so I was on both sides)) yes, suprisingly, rejection can be sweet.
