Energy

Tomorrow I have to present little speech (or "oral report") about energy.
The problem is, I'm not at all sure how to explain energy to someone...
you could start off by saying that energy is in everything around us, and there are two types: potential energy and kinetic energy. Potential means it is stored, or "waiting to happen" while kinetic means that it is caused by movement. Then I could mention that there are 10 types (elastic, gravity, eolic, hidraulic, chemical, nuclear, solar, radiant, electrical and kinetic...)
energy is defined by being able to be transformed from one type to another, transported from one place to another, transferred from one point to another, stored, cannot be created or destroyed and can manifest itself in many different forms...

okay, so I didn't do TOO badly explaining it in writing, but that's the other problem, that I'm an absolutely terrible public speaker.
Sure, I'll only be talking in front of 10 other kids, and I know most of them pretty well, but I'm still so nervousssss... :-S
