Don't get a fairy. EVERYONE has a fairy. It's so cliche. (i don't mean that everyone actually deos have a fairy, just that they are SOOO overdone.)

I dont mind tattoos, i think that they look tacky if theres a lot of them on one person. I think I'd want a trebble cleff, but idk where, places like the ankle or lower back are so over done hteyr not cool anymore. or i'd want my sister's initials becasue she died a long time ago and its kinda like a tribute to her

Yes I have three - my advice is DONT get one they are addictive! I remember getting my first one at a tender fourteen and I swear I stared at it for days telling myself "Sh it this is here forever"! But I love them you know they are really part of me and who I am and the things I have been thru growing up! Me and my girls all have our nicknames done in gorgeous cursive writing on our hips (right side)...I dunno in a way its was yes just incase we forgot who we are LoL But a beautiful memory of our friendship still in my mind that will last forever. My second was a butterfly just above my tail bone - i know everyone has a butterfly but i designed mine myself its a panthers face that fades out into the shape of a butterfly so its unusual and was done when I decided to turn my life around and make a new person and lifestyle of the mess I had made - so very symbolic that one. The third n final Tat I had done was again a friendship tattoo I got done with several of my girls - we all have a chinese character on our right shoulder blades that stands for "corrupt" I know pretty crazy but we loved it and naturally told our parents it stood for friendship LoL But it was the character not the meanin we fell in love with...I was careful too to get them all in spots that wouldn't stretch upon my having children which none of them did. Also being female wanted them discreet...so they can all be hidden - and are hidden most of the time except for my special someone who can see them all!
    Great topic thanks for listening!

I have 2...and yes THEY ARE VERY ADDICTIVE. i got my first one when i was 14, a heart on my ankel....i did it because i was pissed off at my mom, and i got my second one when i was 16, a reminder that i was able to live on my own for 2 years, i have a tribal cross down my spinal cord between my shoulder blades....I love it, and for my grad i am gonna get a gecko on my tummy, with the tale wrapping around my belly button. they are very addictive....
    take care

I think there ok if there not all over yourself. I would like a small one of my grandmothers name, and my best friends name he got killed at 14.

I have none but I did consider it. I wouldn't want to see the exact same picture on my wall for the rest of my life so I decided I might not want the same image on my body for the rest of my life either. When I looked at what would be involved in having a tattoo removed later on, that really firmed up my decision. I already underwent something similar once before to have a scar removed.
