Prozac nation

I just finished this memoir. has anyone else read it?

i found it so insightful, and scary. but comical at the same time. =]

*In case you do not know about this book here is the jist of it:
Prozac Nation (sub-titled Young and Depressed in America : A Memoir), an autobiography published in 1994 and written by Elizabeth Wurtzel, describes the author's experiences with clinical depression. (Specifically atypical depression)

Wurtzel describes her experience with the depths of a mental illness, her own character failings and how she managed to live through particularly difficult periods while completing college and working as a writer.

I am planning to rent/ -ahem- download the movie. i have heard its not as bad in comparison to books mad movies. so i am excited. =]
