Can you help me understand?

Some days he seems very loving and wonderful, other days he seems completely apathetic, and then there are days like today when he intentionally p*sses me off by blatantly talking about other women.

Tell me, what is up with him?

Unfortunatly thats just people (I would say men but thats sexist) for you. I think maybe you should give him the benefit of the doubt, unless of course its happening all the time, maybe he talks bout other women to try and get a reaction out of you, just let him know how much he means to you. If he seems to be bothered about something, just ask. Sian xxx

I think he's confused, and I don't think he knows what he wants. Some days he's sure (the days when he's loving, yada yada) and some days he's not so sure, and that's why he's distant.

But, I'm not a guy ... so I could be dead wrong.

I think you're all stupid. And I also think you can only answer this question from experience, because the truth is far different from obvious logic at face value.

Although I don't do this, I can easily see how any man would feel like doing it, and there are a few possible reasons:

1. He is paying you back (revenge) for something. Maybe you cheated on him or you talk about other guys...or you didn't make Sunday roast, if it means that much to him.

2. He feels you don't want him that much - or that you are too good for him, or other guys might want you, and he feels threatened by that. This is very likely, and equally as bad, because it only makes you want him less because he is being mean to you, and that further feeds the flame.
