Year 12

Who here is in yr12? I am. But I dont graduate till Novenber 16 (Thats the last day of school for yr12s in Queensland, Australia). A while ago a teacher said that the next 17 weeks of school will reflect on the next 17 years of your life. When she said that a few people sort of started freaking out. That even scared me a bit. On wednesday that same teacher told us that in exactly 3 weeks our first exam block (5 school days of exams) start. Now that is a bit scary.

Are any of you getting a bit scared about the end of year 12?

Is that the equivalent to grade 12?

I'm finishing up grade 12 this year, and I'm actually not worried at all. I'm coming back an extra semester, and trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. Plus, I dunno, I just have a hard time worrying over this, even though I know it's my future and all.

And my marks at the moment are good enough that I don't need to stress over exams. So I'm lucky there.

You are saying that because you dont know her. she is one of the best teachers at my school. She said that so that we would concentrate on our school work more so that we can do the best we can do. She is not an idiot or a control freak. She said that with our best interests in mind, so that we would work harder this year then we ever had to get the marks that we deserve. Also she said that so that we knew how important this year was, and how much work has to be put in so that we do get the best marks. She is a lovely person and a great teacher. If my school lost her it would be a great loss to the school.
