Friends

Can we get friends on here like..I don't know like myspace, myyearbook, facebook, ect or is the favorites more or less used for that?

The favorites list is as close as you can get to having friends. The thing is, it makes no real difference to you whether you're on someone's favorites list or not.

So, the real answer is no, you cannot add friends here on P&Q.

I have friends who also have accounts here, but that's about it.

And You can look at their profiles,you know almost everyone put their myspace on their profle and you can add them if you want

I disagree ,why can`t you find friends on the internet its just another form of communication,you can private message and talk to anyone on here .I`ve met a couple of people on here I consider myself to be their friend (just friends I haven`t met yet!)

My Aunt is disabled and homebound. She has met lots of people on this site who she considers friends. They e-mail back and forth some of them once a week and some of them every day. You just never know what life will bring you. Although that is not the purpose of this site, I agree it can be an added bonus. It is nice to read poems you can relate to and sometimes to get to know the person who wrote them even if it's over the computer.

Yep, you can make friends over the web, i mean maybe not literally but isn't it nice when you get a encouraging comment on one of your poems or something.
